This page is a placeholder. The statement below describes how the registry is built to
behave; the formal policy follows before the registry opens to the public.
Built & Launched holds an email address and a password for each member, and whatever each member chooses to publish about their boats.
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes and are never recoverable, by anyone, including the registry's administrators.
A vessel's record may be public, unlisted or private, and its position on the fleet map may be shown exactly, approximately, or not at all. Those choices belong to the owner and can be changed at any time.
Photographs and build stories remain the property of the people who made them.
