A former sailing catamaran cutdown into a dual deck solar trawler.

The Story

In the builder’s words

The Renewable Powered Vessel RPV Maritima is being built from a 1996 EndeavorCat 34 sailing catamaran. See's 100% solar and has no fuels onboard. When finished, she'll have two decks with 2 meters of headroom throughout. She'll carry 18x 410W solar panels and 115kWh of 96V batteries. She'll be capable of cruising at sailboat speed (~4 knots) 24/7/365. She has 2 queen size staterooms, two heads, separate shower, workshop, large cargo hold, and roughly 450sqft of inside living space.
