Recently, semi retired IT professional. Downsized to a home 15 minutes from Sandy Hook Bay in NJ. When looking for this house first priority was to be close to the water and second was to ensure a 2 car garage…but no room for cars in this garage (you will see why in the build photos). I am water lover and sailing beach catamarans at SHBCC, laser dinghies , jet skiing and ice boating are my soft and hard water hobbies. I grew up in a DIY family that had sport fishing power boats my entire life. For this reason I learned about the local waterways, engines, electronics, fiberglassing and anything else mechanical or electrical. This makes the CANDU E-Z a perfect project for me and my grandson who likes to help out and checks on progress often. When complete, I expect to have many memorable experiences on tugboat KATE.
